A Letter from Malka
This week was my last week as a Kehilla employee. Three years of being grown, held, challenged, loved, and seen. What an amazing experience!
I feel deeply grateful to the Kehilla community for walking with me these last few formative years. To all of the students- I adore you! I can’t wait to hear how you continue growing. To their parents- I admire you so very much. Thank you for entrusting us with your family. To the exceptional teachers who I have learned from (and continue to learn from!)- thank you for always being willing to engage in crazy ideas and be examples of great Jewish learning. To the staff who has shaped me up- thank you for letting me be me and always giving me friendship and feedback. And a special thank you to Rabbi Dev- you have supported me fiercely and lovingly; always giving me enough room and helping to shape my wings.
I am desperately glad that my relationship with Kehilla will not end, and I realize it will change. A huge thank you to the staff for sending me off in style with an Ike’s sandwich picnic on Tuesday. I look forward to walking this next journey with you all!
B’Shalom,
Malka
