Annual Summer Community Retreat
Each year, Kehilla holds an annual community retreat on a weekend in July or early August. Join us for Shabbat Under the Redwoods, playshops (workshops with a fun twist), a delicious catered lunch, a talent show and lots of fun games for all ages! Our community retreat is a fantastic chance to schmooze and be in community, learn about Kehilla’s committees and ways to get involved, as well as make new friends. In the past we have held this retreat at a day-long event at Lake Temescal and before that at Bort Meadow, which has included optional (and super fun) camping on Friday and Saturday nights. Stay tuned for announcements in June about our location and how to register.

Biannual Leadership Retreat
Every other year, we hold a multi-day leadership retreat for Kehilla’s community leadership. This is a time to dream, learn, teach and collaborate on Kehilla’s present and future organizational development goals and values. In 2021, we held this retreat at the Urban Adamah farm in West Berkeley, and prior to that at Wilder Ranch in West Marin. Participation is by invitation.
