Membership Dues Guidance 2025-2026

We can avoid facing a significant deficit and successfully meet our staff and program needs in the coming year if each of us pay our 5786 annual dues according to the following new levels:

Shalom / Wholeness

  • If your household income is over $250,000 or you have a lower income but have significant wealth (indicators of “wealth” might include investments, inheritances, family financial support, financial capacity for vacations, luxury purchases, etc.), your suggested annual dues = $5,400 ($450/month)—or more if you can afford it and would like to help cover costs for a household with less capacity!

Ahavah / Love

  • If your household income is $150,000–$250,000, or you have a lower income but have some wealth (as described above), your suggested annual dues = $3,600 ($300/month) —or more, if you can afford it!

Kehilla / Community

  • If your household income is $90,000–$150,000 and you have little wealth (as described above), your suggested annual dues = $2,400 ($200/month) — or more, if you can afford it!

Tzedek / Justice

  • If your household’s income is between $25,000–$90,000, and you have little or no wealth, suggested annual dues = 1% of your income.
  • If your household income is under $25,000 and you have little or no wealth, pay what you feel you can afford. No one is turned away from membership in Kehilla due to inability to pay.

If you want to discuss the new dues guidance, or your specific dues contribution, contact Executive Director Samm Azen samm@kehillasynagogue.org

We recognize that people’s financial situations are complex and don’t want finances to be an obstacle to membership. If you have the ability to contribute dues at a level higher than described above, or if you need to offer less, we invite you to consider your own circumstances and pay as you are able with the intention of helping Kehilla remain strong.
