Maria joined the Kehilla team in the summer of 2022, filling the new role of Kehilla School Administrator, working alongside Rabbi Gray Myrseth and Natalie Boskin. Maria has been an activist and educator since her youth, and loves helping shape the next generation of Jewish changemakers. Born and raised in the Ramaytush Ohlone territory commonly known as San Francisco, Maria has been attending services and taking adult education classes at Kehilla since 2015. She is an organizer with Jews On Ohlone Land, and a regular participant in Kehilla’s White Folks Decentering Whiteness Affinity Group. She loves kids, community, and pizza-based pedagogy.
