We will soon be electing new members to the Kehilla Board of Trustees. The community will vote in early May and new board members will be introduced at our Community Meeting in mid-May.
The board assures that everything we do reflects the purpose and the values of Kehilla. The board works to maintain the health of our community: the financial health, the wellbeing of our clergy and staff, solving key long-term issues, and creatIng a bold vision moving forward. There are a number of ways for you to join us on this journey. If you are unsure if you have the time or energy for full board participation, there are opportunities to join a committee: the Finance, Generosity (fundraising), and Board Development committees welcome non-board members. The Kehilla board is a wonderful service opportunity and is friendly and fun. We are still operating remotely but hoping to go back to in person or hybrid meetings in the coming year as conditions allow.
Please join us at the next board meeting – Tuesday, March 22 at 6:45pm. Check it out. The agenda and link are posted on the board’s web page, which you can always find under “Calendar and Communications” heading. Join us virtually using this link. We are an engaged, vibrant, collaborative, committed group eager to welcome a few new members!

If you are interested in exploring participation on the Board of Trustees please fill out this short application. Once you have done that, you will meet with a board member to answer your questions, and allow us to get to know you. The slate of candidates will be put forth to the community by May 1. Our goal is to bring on 3-4 new members whose service would begin July 1. Board service is for 2 years, and members can present themselves for re-election twice.
