Grateful to be Helped with Such Kindness

by Sandy Bredt

In early October, I had spinal fusion surgery, and since my release from the hospital, brand new Kehilla member Jamie McGrath has helped me manage at home with competence, kindness, willingness and grace. I have asked Jamie to help me with everything from “spotting” me for safety in the shower, to grocery shopping, cooking and doing my dishes, to helping me get body work done on my car, to taking out the recycling and compost… the list goes on, and it’s only been six weeks! She has cheerfully done everything I’ve asked of her, with promptness and good common sense. She often walks in, takes a look around, and just starts doing what needs to be done. And she makes a great cup of coffee.

If you find yourself needing or wanting help of this sort, please give me a call and I can tell you more about Jamie. Or give her a call yourself.  You can contact Sasha in the office for Jamie’s contact information. I’m  in the Kehilla directory.
