Selichot or slichot (Hebrew: סליחות) are Jewish penitential poems and prayers, especially those said in the period leading up to the High Holidays, and on Fast Days.

Kol Nidre – Office Closed

The Kehilla Administrative Office is closed in observance of Yom Kippur, we will reopen on Mon., October 14 during our normal business hours. Kol Nidre, (Aramaic: “All Vows”), a prayer sung in Jewish synagogues at the beginning of the service on the eve of Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement).

Yom Kippur

Yom Kippur fast day is the holiest day of the year, when we are closest to God and to the essence of our souls. Yom Kippur means “Day of Atonement,” as the verse states, “For on this day He will forgive you, to purify you, that you be cleansed from all your sins."

Simchat Torah – Office Closed

The Kehilla Administrative Office is closed in observance of Simchat Torah, we will reopen on Mon., October 28 during our normal business hours.

Thanksgiving – Office Closed

The Kehilla Administrative Office is Thurs., November 28 thru Fri., November 29 closed in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, we will reopen on Fri., July 5 during our normal business hours.
