DESCRIPTION:Registeration is Closed!\n					\n					\n				\n								\n				\n				\n				\n									Join us for Kehilla’s In-Gathering Retreat!  Register NOW – Registration Closes 7/3!! Location: Kehilla Community Synagogue 1300 Grand Ave. Piedmont\, CA This year\, we will be centered in and around our beloved building with sessions offered indoors and outdoors. We will open Shabbat services enriched by Hallel (special songs for the new month). We’ll share a catered Shabbat lunch from Oasis; join Rabbi Dev and Hazzan Shulamit for a casual conversation; participate in community-building gatherings focused on art\, spirituality\, and nature; play games\, and schmooze\, schmooze\, schmooze. This is a family-friendly event with something to do for people of all ages! Children under 11 are free. Schedule: 10:00 am – 12:20 pm: Multi-Access Shabbat Service featuring Hallel 10:00 am – 5:00 pm (except for lunchtime): Children’s Activities led by Kaiya Garcia\, Director of Kehilla School12:20 pm – 1:00 pm: Kiddush and Lunch1:15 pm – 2:30 pm: Session 1 Small Gatherings (full descriptions linked below)2:45 pm – 3:30 pm: Multi-Access Informal Conversation with Rabbi Dev and Hazzan Shulamit. This is a chance for them to share a little about themselves and their experience as our Spiritual Leaders. Children under 11 are free! No one is turned away for lack of funds. Information Specific to Virtual Attendance Registration for virtual attendance includes Shabbat Services\, the conversation with Rabbi Dev and Hazzan Shulamit\, and will include one afternoon session. There will be time for questions and conversation.Information Specific to Children and the Children’s Activity Hub Children 5 and older are welcome to come by the children’s activity hub lead by Kehilla School’s Kaiya Garcia and Emma Regev. This might be most needed during Shabbat services and the conversation with Rabbi Dev and Hazzan Shulamit. Children younger than 5 are invited to hang out in the children’s activity hub with their adult. All but two of our small gatherings are “family-friendly”.  COVID Safety We will follow Kehilla’s COVID Safety Policy for this In-Gathering Retreat. Masks are required in the sanctuary\, and in areas where food is prepared or served. While eating lunch and snacks in the Social Hall and Courtyard\, masks are optional. Outside spaces including the Courtyard and Parking Lot will be used for some of the afternoon sessions. Inside sessions will be masked. While we do not require it\, we recommend taking a COVID-19 rapid antigen test the day of the In-Gathering. In the event of a positive test result\, or if you experience ANY symptoms of a potential contagious illness\, we kindly ask that you remain at home (your presence will be missed\, and unfortunately we won’t be able to provide a refund). Accessibility Kehilla is wheelchair-accessible from multiple entrances. We ask all attendees to adhere to our no-scent policy.
