VIRTUAL ONLY: 40 Days of Teshuva, bringing Jewish spiritual practice into the fight for racial justice – Film screening and Discussion

Thursday, September 9, 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Join us for 40 Days of Teshuva, bringing Jewish spiritual practice into the fight for racial justice – Film screening and Discussion, that documents the 40 days of mourning Black lives leading up to Tisha B’Av in 2020, at Grand Army Plaza in Brooklyn.

The film offers a powerful model for integrating Jewish spiritual tools and technologies like prayer, teshuva and Mussar into the work of social change in general and racial justice. These aspects are especially relevant during the High Holiday season.

Join us for this virtual film screening, which will be followed by a facilitated discussion.
