Let’s gather together to weave a web of connection, prayer, meditation, Torah, and celebration, as we give ourselves over to the practice of shabbat and tend to what we’re feeling in relation to the war in Israel/Palestine. Services will be led by Howard Hamburger, Hazzan Shulamit Wise Fairman and Debbie Fier, exploring parashat Bereshit, the very beginning of the Torah. With R. Dev, we will honor Ruthie Levin for her incredible contributions to Kehilla in her outgoing role of POC Organizer. And with R. SAM, we will celebrate a baby naming for Simon Eran Harwood, the child of Britt Harwood and Matt Turnbull. Jon Rodney will join H. Shulamit and R. SAM in chanting torah.
After services, about 30 minutes following the start of kiddush, people gathered in person will have an opportunity to be part of a listening circle, from approximately 12:45pm-1:15pm, or to continue socializing outdoors or in the Social Hall.
For in-person attendance, please adhere to the COVID Public Health Protocols.
