IN-PERSON: Torah Iyun / Depth Class – Spring 2024

May 14 @ 7:15 pm - 9:15 pm

Taught by: Rabbi Dev Noily

Starting Tues., April 30, from 7:15-9:15pm pm for IN-PERSON sessions @ Kehilla. (time updated 4/2/24)

Iyun means ‘deliberation,’ and refers to in-depth text study, as opposed to broad overview study.

Come join R’Dev for this four (4) week class and learn skills and tools for Torah study, and explore the craft of teaching Torah. This class is a requirement for folks in the Adult B’Mitzvah Program, and is open to all. Participants will have the option to develop a drash/Torah teaching to share as part of our all-night learning space on Shavuot (June 11-12).

Cost:*

  • Members: $96 for series ($24 per session);
  • Non-members: $112 for series ($28 per session)
    *No one turned away for lack of ability to pay; please pay what you can at registration or $0.

Location: Class will be held in the Social Hall at Kehilla Community Synagogue. Please enter through the Courtyard, or use the bus stop door on Grand Avenue for an accessible entrance.
