IN-PERSON: Kehilla Sings

Join Hazzan Shulamit to learn and sing together in community. Highlights include a song introduced last month for grieving and connection with earth and humanity,“Ayeka”, inspired by tracing today’s violence in Israel/Palestine back to our ancient story of first brothers, Cain and Abel. We’ll sing and pray for healing, a deep theme in this moon-month of IYAR,  and we’ll conclude with a teaching and prayer-songs for counting the Omer together, a nightly practice from Pesach to Shavuot– no experience required! All voices welcome. Let’s circle up, breathe together and drop into the healing power of music to soothe and strengthen and delight our souls.

  1. Anyone experiencing ANY symptoms of potentially contagious illness should remain at home and access Kehilla events virtually.
  2. All people over the age of four attending in-person Kehilla events or services are expected to be masked indoors when not eating: N95, KN95, KF94 or comparable masks required.
  3. In keeping with our health and safety protocols, Kehilla will provide maximum air filtration and ventilation. Doors and windows will be opened whenever possible.
