IN- PERSON: Immigration Committee Get-Together
In the Kehilla Courtyard
Please join us to hear updates from asylum-seekers we’ve accompanied or hosted in our sanctuary space, as well as team members who have accompanied them. We will include a short report back from the Pilgrimage for a Better Future that several Kehilla members and immigrants we’ve worked with participated in. We’ll provide snacks, music, time to schmooze together and an opportunity to talk with season members of the committee so you can learn more if you are interested in joining us in our exciting and sacred work. It’s a great opportunity to reconnect with old friends from the community and other accompaniment teams. We look forward to having a meaningful and good time together.
If you have questions or to RSVP, please contact immigrationcommitteechairs@kehillasynagogue.org
For in-person attendance, please adhere to the COVID Public Health Protocols.
IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ: The full Kehilla COVID Public Health Protocols here (updated May 20).
- Effective May 20 – We are now requesting that everyone take a rapid antigen test before coming to an indoor Kehilla event or service.
- This new protocol is designed to decrease the possibility that COVID infections will be spread at Kehilla.
In keeping with our health and safety protocols, for proper ventilation we are keeping windows and doors open during indoor Kehilla events, so we recommend that you bring layers (it may be cold in the building).
All events at Kehilla are scent-free. Click here for information about what it means to be scent-free.
