Kehilla’s Chevra Kadisha welcomes you to participate in the first meeting of our congregation’s Death Cafe. This is an opportunity to engage in an open discussion of a topic that we all face, though for many of us, seldom talk about. Bring whatever is on your mind and heart – grieving, caregiving, practical and spiritual preparation, funerals and other rituals – there’s room for it all. We can also talk about how we as a Kehilla community can better raise our awareness and support each other through all of life’s stages, including the final one. This first meeting will be co-facilitated by Avi Rose and Nicky Silver. We are looking toward holding Death Cafe meetings on an ongoing basis.

- Anyone experiencing ANY symptoms of potentially contagious illness should remain at home and access Kehilla events virtually.
- All people over the age of four attending in-person Kehilla events or services are expected to be masked indoors when not eating: N95, KN95, KF94 or comparable masks required.
- In keeping with our health and safety protocols, Kehilla will provide maximum air filtration and ventilation. Doors and windows will be opened whenever possible.
