Join together – in person and in the larger East Bay community – to celebrate receiving the Torah!
We are happy to share that the 34th Annual East Bay Tikkun: A Day of Learning on Shavuot* will be in person this year. The JCC East Bay is excited to partner once again with synagogues and organizations around the Bay Area to offer a day of learning during the holiday of Shavuot.
This year, each of our four venues will offer several class options in the afternoon on Sunday, June 5, after morning services have concluded. For safety and security, all gatherings will be outdoors, class registration is required (there will be built-in time slots allowing the opportunity to change venues), and attendees must be vaccinated and boosted to attend any of the classes.
For COVID safety purposes this event will be held during daylight hours and outside at a variety of participating venues in Central/North Berkeley. All attendees are required to be vaccinated and boosted in order to attend.

New for this year’s Tikkun, we will be offering programming in partnership with Edah and Tkiya Music for families with children in preschool through 5th grade. Families are invited to create art, play games in Hebrew, dance, and learn some Torah!
