Welcome to Beyond Shabbat. As you know Kehilla is a very busy community with many events, fundraisers, community building activities, classes and Shabbat services. This is the place you will find additional information about the many things happening here at Kehilla, as well as ways to become more involved in your community.
The Kehilla Retreat at Lake Temescal is right around the corner on July 18th! Volunteers are needed on Friday, July 17th to do some light food prep in the kitchen in the morning. We will be cooking a couple of dishes that will be served for lunch at the Retreat. This is a great way to volunteer for the Retreat if you enjoy cooking! Want to volunteer on the day of the Retreat? For anyone that enjoys arriving early we need help setting up for services at the picnic area. Volunteers will also be needed to help light set up for lunch at the Retreat. Contact me soon to let me know how you would like to be involved in this year’s Retreat!
Also, please don’t forget to brink a chair or blanket to sit on during services and lunch at the Retreat. We will have limited seating available. Be sure to check out what Playshops will be happening after lunch!
High Holy Days volunteer opportunities are now posted here! It is not too early to start signing up before your favorite shift is gone.
