High Holy Day Services are almost here!  Volunteer opportunities are posted online; please click here to find out more!

Now is the perfect time to sign up for your favorite volunteer shift before it is gone.  There are so many volunteer opportunities available during the High Holy Days and this is a wonderful way to participate in your community and to welcome so many people to services. We depend on volunteers to greet members and people new to Kehilla as well as helping to set up the Bima, Kiddush and so many other activities that happen before, during and after services.  Give me a call or sign up today online!

On October 2nd, please join us for Sukkot Shabbat: A Friday Evening Potluck in the Sukkah.  Bring the whole family and join us for a Sukkot dinner! Please bring a veggie dish to share. We can use a few volunteers to help with set-up and clean-up.

Sukkot Shabbat and New Member Welcome is on October 3rd. Volunteers are needed before services to setup the kiddush.  Volunteers will also be needed after the Kiddush to do a light cleanup. Come join in the celebration of Sukkot and Kehilla’s new members!

For all Avodah opportunities, sign up by contacting me, Beth Bittle, at (510) 547-2424, ext. 106 or Beth@KehillaSynagogue.org.

Sign up with Jan Herzog, Kiddush Coordinator, at KiddushSponsor@kehillasynagogue.org to sponsor a Kiddush.  Kiddush Sponsors are responsible for purchasing and delivering Challot, grape juice, desserts and drinks, and having it set-up at Kehilla by 7:20PM on Fridays (5:50PM for Tot Shabbat) and 10:15AM on Saturdays.
