Ariella Brodie-Weisberg

Pronouns: They/Them
ariella@kehillasynagogue.org

Ariella (they/them) was raised on Ohlone/Chochenyo land (Berkeley, CA) where they grew up in a spiritually and practically expansive mix of modern-orthodox, conservative, reform, and politically oriented Judaisms. Ariella’s Jewish practice is fundamentally shaped by their experiences with SVARA (particularly Rabbi Benay Lappe’s Crash Theory), the life and work of their mother, and student organizing for Palestinian liberation at Bard College. They are honored to be brought into the Kehilla community as an administrative assistant for the B’Mitzvah program and 6th grade Kehilla school teacher where they hope to bring their passions for ritual making, poetry, and Jewish text into the classroom and beyond.
