About Allen Price: The photographs you will see here are new digital prints from old film negatives that I made between the ages of 16 and 32. For an artist in the midst of a long career, you might call such a show a “retrospective” or “early work” but those terms don’t really apply here. In my early 30’s, with a self imposed need to become a responsible adult with a real job, I put my camera away. The 30 years since that time have been full and wonderful and joyous but they have also been a time of aching creative void. This show is the beginning of my climb out of that void.
