Working Class / Low Income Group (WCLIG)

We are a group of working class and low-income people, either in our class backgrounds and/or current situations, who come together with two main focus points:

  1. Share and support each other in our experiences of difficult class dynamics in Kehilla and/or the Jewish community in general as well as in our everyday lives.
  2. Raise awareness of class differences at Kehilla through discussion and education. Examine and change the policies and class/resource structures that reflect class bias.

You are welcome to join this group if either or both focuses are of interest to you.

We are scheduled to meet on the second Sunday of the month, 4:00-5:30pm. We want anyone who can benefit from and add to this discussion to feel welcome.

We are currently meeting via Zoom – Please change this line to: We are meeting again in person and can also have folks join on zoom if you let us know ahead of time. If you would like more information, including the Zoom link, please email us with your questions or concerns. Contact: coordinator-wclig@kehillasynagogue.org
