Kehilla Chevra Kadisha is a group of people within Kehilla whose purpose is to serve and honor the dead by providing a Tahara for any Kehilla family member who requests one. Tahara is the traditional Jewish ritual preparation of the body for burial. In Kehilla we will perform Tahara prior to cremation, as well as burial.
Any member of Kehilla is welcome to join the Chevra Kadisha. Contact chevrakadcontact@kehillasynagogue.org for more information on how you can get involved.
