Shabbat Morning Service with Rabbi David and Julie Nesnansky. The Torah segment this week (Mishpatim) is the beginning of the Israelites' legal code. We will be looking at some of the laws that involve capital punishment and how those laws have been reinterpreted and circumvented in the Talmud and over the centuries. If you want to leyn, let Rabbi David know. The aliyot are: Exodus 21:12-16; Ex. 21:17-19; and Ex. 21:20-22. Bring veggie finger food to share for the kiddush.
