Kehilla Homeless Action Depot
The Homeless Action Depot now lives at Kehilla! As we told you in a previous blog, we started collecting more donations than would fit in the box in the Kehilla lobby, and we needed a place to sort them. There was room available at Kehilla, and Sue Greenwald and Dvora Gordon have gotten us organized:
You can help! If you have new or gently-used clothes, jackets, sleeping bags, etc.
We’re pausing collection during the current COVID-19 outbreak but hope to resume soon – contact the committee by e-mail for updates.
When you bring donations, please knock on the door by the bus stop on Grand Ave. Leave the donations by the door and step back. Once you see someone come out to take the donations you are welcome to leave. People doing sorting don’t want close contact with others.
Or, contribute online using the wish list on the Love and Justice in the Streets web page.
Thank you!!
