Join Kehilla’s Greening Committee! Visit us at July 21st Retreat Lunch-Time Tabling!

Kehilla’s Greening Committee meets the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm. The Committee has been meeting for over 10 years and is always excited to take on new environmental projects. Please bring your issue or proposed project to us and consider working with us on it. Our proud accomplishments include adding a bike rack and solar panels to Kehilla’s building, and working with other community organizations to bring Alameda County’s Community Choice Energy program—East Bay Clean Energy—to fruition.  Come to our Retreat table on July 21st and find out more about East Bay Clean Energy’s launch in November and how you can make the most of it in your home. Our other activities have included holding voter information nights and debates on crucial issues, such as what climate and fire-prevention policies to support, as well as participating in innumerable marches and letter-writing campaigns. We use each project as an opportunity to protect the environment and to build community at Kehilla and beyond. We keep each other informed about the many outside groups we participate in and seek out as partners. Your energy and enthusiasm can find a home with us. We look forward to meeting you!
