ROSH HASHANAH DAY – Monday, October 3

8:30-9:15am (Doors open 8:15am): Silent Meditation Space, 3rd floor
9:30am-12:30pm: Rosh Hashanah Morning Service, beginning with Ketzev Kehilla (Drumming). Sanctuary, 4th & 5th Floors
10:00am-11:15am: Family and Youth Service* with Rabbi Dev Noily, Sandra Razieli and Musical Prayer Leader Beth Dickinson and surprise guests! All ages of children, teens, and adults welcome. 3rd Floor.
10:15-11:15am: Celebration for Toddlers & Young Kids* with Jen Miriam and Alon Altman. For babies and children up to age 5 and their grown-ups. 3rd Floor.
12:45pm (ish): Tashlich at Lake Merritt (across the street from services, with Rabbi David)
SECOND DAY ROSH HASHANAH – Tuesday, October 4

9:30am-12:30pm (Doors open 9:00am): Morning Service. Receive the replenishment of contemplative song, story, and silence. Rabbi Chaya Gusfield and Buddhist Teacher and Musician Eve Decker use the beautiful complement of Jewish and Buddhist teachings, music, and spiritual practices to delve deeply into the essence of this holy day. SHABBAT SHUVAH – Saturday, October 8
Kehilla Community Synagogue, 1300 Grand Avenue, Piedmont
10:30am-12:00pm: Morning Service. Light Kiddush will be provided. No registration necessary. Sanctuary.
KOL NIDRE (Erev Yom Kippur) – Adult Service – Tuesday, October 11

10:00am – 11:00am: Service for 6th – 8th graders. 4th Floor Anteroom, across the 4th floor lobby and down the stairs.
YOM KIPPUR AFTERNOON & EVENING – Wednesday, October 12
Kehilla Community Synagogue, 1300 Grand Avenue, Piedmont
NOTE: Workshops and services are FREE to all. No tickets are necessary.
2:00pm – 4:30pm: Drop off vegetarian potluck offerings at Kehilla (or bring them at 7:45pm)
2:30 – 3:30 pm: Workshops
4:30 pm: Yizkor (Remembrance)
5:15 pm: Rabbi Burt’s Teaching, Healing Service, Dukhanen (Priestly Blessing)
6:30 pm: Ne’ila (Closing the Gates)
8:00pm – 9:30pm: Community Pot Luck Break-fast. Please bring a vegetarian main dish to share. Food can be dropped off at Kehilla between 2:00 & 4:30 p.m., or at 7:45 p.m.
