A family child-friendly service with Rabbi Dev, Beth Dickinson, Nathaniel Marksman, and Kehilla youth in the Sanctuary. This service will be filled with upbeat songs and prayers geared to younger participants but meaningful to all.
AND an adult-friendly service with Rabbi David and Julie Nesnansky in the Fireside Room. Join Rabbi David and Julie Nesnansky for a short lively service with much music and some time for meditation. Rather than a full blown Torah service, we’ll be exploring the opening of the Book of Numbers. Inspired by that chapter’s list of the exotic names of the tribal leaders, we ask: What is in a name? What are your own names. Share the story behind your names if you are moved to do so.
Come at 9:45 for more extensive Torah study with Rabbi David. (You may come to one or both adult activities.) We will look at the haftarah from the book of Hosea and consider the poetry of his love/hate relationship with his fellow Israelites. You can come to one or both of the adult activities.
Yummy Kiddush lunch for everyone following.
