ONLINE – Juneteenth Shabbat for Black Lives

Friday, June 19 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Join us for one of two ways to welcome Shabbat, both from 5:30 to 6:30pm.

This Erev Shabbat is Juneteenth, a celebration of Black freedom and resistance, and the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States.

People of Color are invited to join Ruthie Levin for a POC Shabbat and Dance Party.

Please use this Zoom link to join POC Shabbat & Dance Party: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84056528513?pwd=ekhRdEpjUGZEQmhaVlR4dHNIRllodz09

Everyone is invited to Kabbalat Shabbat with Hazzan Shulamit and Rabbi Dev, where we will especially support white anti-racist work in support of Black lives. Please Click HERE  for the Zoom link to join the Early Kabbalat Shabbat.

This is a time when Black people and people of color in our community may need separate spaces to be together, and when white people can best show up for people of color by respecting and supporting those spaces.
