ONLINE: Developing a Common Language for Dismantling Systemic Racism
An All-Kehilla Community Education Webinar with Yavilah McCoy
Sunday, July 24, 10am – Noon PT

Please join us for a very special opportunity with Kehilla’s Arc of Change leader and Dimensions Educational Consulting founder Yavilah McCoy, who will share with us the Dimensions “Lexicon of Terms” and several contexts for understanding, discussing and engaging others in the work of dismantling systemic racism. This will give us all a common language and understanding, as part of Kehilla’s vital work in uprooting white supremacy in our beloved synagogue. This workshop will help us to build new pathways by asking ourselves ҈ow can we each do the work needed to imagine and transform our spaces beyond white supremacy?”

Note that this is an updated version of the November 7, 2021, webinar that Yavilah offered our community, but due to a zoom glitch, many Kehilla members were not admitted into the zoom room – so we are doing this again. Please come, whether you attended last November or not, and bring other Kehilla members with you!

Registration is open to current Kehilla members. Members, please locate the registration link in your email inbox. Be sure to check your spam folder. If you still cannot find it, please contact Penny Rossenwasser at penny@mecaforpeace.org.

Thanks from your Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Team.
