IN-PERSON ONLY: Shabbat Morning Stroll with Rabbi David

Saturday, September 3 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

IN-PERSON ONLY: Shabbat Morning Stroll with Rabbi David

An Elul Shabbat prayer stroll (walk/roll) on the Berkeley Marina. We will be off-book. As we go, we can meditate or talk and schmooze. We will pause at times for abridged segments of the Shabbat service and for kavanot or directed meditations.

BRING THE FOLLOWING:

  • If you want, bring with you an easy seat or floor cushion or small mat that you can carry easily for when we stop for a few minutes.
  • It will be hot this Saturday (although the Marina will be cooler). Wear layers that will accommodate both heat and cool. Sunscreen and wide-brimmed hat are recommended. Consider a parasol or umbrella.
  • Bring a snack and water for yourself, if you wish.
  • Masks are strongly encouraged.

***This event will be outside, so we recommend that you bring layers (it may be cold).***

We are assembling at the traffic circle at the end of Spinnaker Way on the Berkeley Marina. The route is wheelchair accessible. We will begin our stroll at 10:45, but it is recommended that you arrive earlier so that you don’t miss where we are.
