Grief and Growing Weekend

Are you grieving someone significant to you who has died? Would you find comfort…

  • among other bereaved individuals and families
  • in a beautiful Bay Area setting
  • supported by a holistic professional staff of griefcare and camp specialists
  • in a weekend dedicated to grief and healing?

This unique weekend is designed to help individuals and families attend to their losses and identify tools to help them in their mourning. Being away from home in the natural beauty of a retreat center offers a path through grief in a comforting setting. Many participants find that taking the dedicated time to focus on their grief buoys them as they return to their daily schedule.  This weekend in the only one of its kind in the Jewish community for individuals and families. Professionally guided and providing a supportive Jewish environment at Camp Newman.

We welcome the diversity of the community including families of all kinds, all gender identities and sexual orientations, ages, class, race and cultural affinities.

Financial aid is available by calling the Bay Area Jewish Healing Center at: (415) 750.3436.  No one is turned away for lack of funds.
